Director, Property management
Reporting to the Managing Partner, the Director, Property Management plays a key strategic role. You will be responsible for all property management operations of our industrial, commercial and office assets, while actively contributing to the evolution of our practices and the excellence of our service.

Responsibilities
Leadership and team development
• Lead, mobilise and develop a team of property managers and property managers at different levels.
• Create a collaborative work environment that promotes engagement, accountability, and performance.
• Ensure regular performance monitoring, offer coaching and support professional development.
• Participate in workforce planning, workload assessment, and optimization of team structure.
• Collaborate with human resources in the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and development of talent.
Tenant Experience and Operational Excellence
• Ensure that we deliver a best-in-class tenant experience across the portfolio.
• Maintain strong relationships with tenants and ensure a timely response to their needs.
• Oversee tenant satisfaction and retention initiatives and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Conduct periodic visits to buildings to ensure that high standards of quality and service are maintained.
• Support occupier engagement programs and contribute to their success.
Financial Management and Asset Performance
• Participate in the development and management of annual budgets.
• Analyze revenues, expenses and budget variances to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with budget schedules and financial management processes.
• Work closely with accounting teams to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
Accounts receivable management
• Ensure rigorous monitoring of accounts receivable and rent collection.
• Support the team in the management of complex or contentious files.
• Make recommendations regarding provisions, write-offs or legal remedies.
• Collaborate with legal counsel in the processing of backlog of cases.
Collaboration with the technical team
• Work closely with the Technical Services – Director to ensure that deadlines and commitments to tenants are met.
• Ensure proper coordination between departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee the performance of suppliers and maintenance contracts.
Continuous improvement and strategic projects
• Participate in the optimization of processes and the improvement of organizational practices.
• Support certification and sustainability processes (BOMA, LEED, WELL, etc.).
• Collaborate with all departments to foster fluid communication and a culture of continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in property management in a similar position.
• Significant experience in team management and leadership.
• University degree in business administration, real estate or related field.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite tools, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of Yardi software (an asset).
• CPM, RPA, or FMA designations (an asset).
• Bilingualism in French and English, both oral and written.
